6000 mile (Interim) Service - £75.00* inc vat
- Change engine oil and filter
- Check operation of all lights
- Check operation of horn
- Check washers and wipers
- Check front brakes (wheels removed)
- Check rear brakes visually if possible (wheels not removed)
- Add screenwash and top up fluid
- Check and record all tyre depths
- Check and set tyre pressures
- Visual check cooling system for leaks
- Check drivebelts (not cam belt)
- Check all fluid levels
- Check exhaust system condition
- Lube locks and hinges
- Check antifreeze content and record
- Road test** to check operation of :-
- Steering
- Engine and Gearbox
- Report any any additional work required
* For most vehicles up to 2000cc, prices do not apply to Vans over 2000kg GVW or HGVs, additional
costs may apply to vehicles with long life/Platinum spark plugs , over 4 cylinders, where inlet manifolds have to be
removed to change plugs, long life diesel fuel filters, long life or synthetic oils, we would be pleased to provide a specific
quote for you vehicle.

- All items as per 6000 Service plus following
- Replace Air Filter
- Replace Spark Plugs* (Petrol Engines Only)
- Replace Fuel Filter* ( Diesel Engines Only)
- Check Rear Brakes (Wheels & Brake Drums Removed)
- Clean out and adjust rear brake shoes
- Adjust handbrake if required
- Check condition of rear brake discs,pads and calipers or
- Check condition of rear brake shoes,drums & wheel cylinders
- Check condition of handbrake cables/linkages
- Check condition of exhaust
- Check operation of instrument lights
- Check operation of heating & ventilation controls
- Check condition of points, distributer cap, rotor arm if fitted
- Check brake, clutch & power steering fluid levels
- Check gearbox and axle oil levels
- Remove rear brake drums - check lining and wheel cylinder condition
- Check handbrake travel & operation
- Brake pipes & hoses - check for corrosion, leaks and condition
- Suspension joints - check for wear
- Steering system/joints check for wear
- Shock absorbers check operation and for wear
- CV joints and gaiters check condition
- Clutch - check operation
- Road test and report any faults
